POINTSC0RE RULES
MAJOR POINT SCORE
THERE WILL BE ONE MAJOR POINTSCORING SYSTEM FROM WHICH THE FOLLOWING RESULTS WILL BE DETERMINED:
Best dog, Best bitch,
Best Australian bred dog, Best Australian bred bitch,
The Top Ten Dogs for the Year
The Top Ten Bitches for the Year
The results will be determined on a "first past the post" basis i.e.NO FINAL.
Dogs will be scored separately from bitches, there will be no extra point(S) for Best or Runner up of Breed. In the event of a tie, a countback of challenges, reserves, 1st, 2nd and 3rd etc will determine the winner. If still tied after a countback, the highest score for the least number of shows attended will determine the result.
Scoring will be from Junior Class upwards and will be as follows:
CHALLENGE = 5 points
RESERVE = 2 points
1st in Class = 3 points
2nd in Class = 2 points
3rd in Class = 1 point
The competition will operate on 15 Major Metropolitan shows, determined at the October Meeting Biennial point score review. Dogs scored at their highest 12 shows.
Perpetual Trophies and a sash will be awarded for Best Dog, Best Bitch, Best Australian Bred Dog, Best Australian Bred Bitch, and a sash for each of the Top Tendogs and Bitches
Puppies from 3 to 12 months of age are eligible. The point score will operate on the 1st Metropolitan Sunday Championship Show of each month, or as close to the 1st Sunday as possible. In the months where a Boxer Club of NSW Show is scheduled, the Puppy Pointscore will operate at that show.
Puppies will score from their highest 8 shows.
The highest scoring puppy after the December puppy pointscore show to be the winner in each sex,all other eligible puppies shall carry their points forward to next year.
Puppies will score at their highest eight (8) shows.
A Perpetual trophy and sash will be awarded to Best Puppy Dog and Best Puppy Bitch.
The point score will operate on the three (3)puppy classes 1,1a,2,2a,3,3a.
Points will be awarded as follows:
1st in Class = 3 points
2nd in Class = 2 points
3rd in class = 1 point
Points are allocated irrespective of the number of dogs/bitches in the class.
ONLY MEMBERS OF THE BOXER CLUB OF NSW MAY BE SCORED ON THE CLUB'S POINT SCORE. IF A MEMBER HAS NOT RENEWED THEIR MEMBERSHIP BY 1 JULY EACH YEAR THEIR DOG WILL NOT BE SCORED AT ANY OF THE POINTSCORED SHOWS UNTIL THEIR MEMBERSHIP HAS BEEN RENEWED.
